Moody Blues Live

We were listening to a CD the other day and Katie said "we need to see the Moody Blues sometime". To make a long story short we found that they were opening their 2007 US tour in Bakersfield (yes, I know, why?) July 1st. A visit to EBAY and we were holding tickets for front row center (only the three rows of folding chairs in the lowered orchestra pit were closer).

The band was 10' in front of us! (we were right below the "S" in the orchestra on the map below - for some reason the orchestra seating is offset to the right on the map)

The outside of the Fox Theatre, we were not able to take any pictures during the show (security was searching articles and not letting cameras in). But, one of the people sitting next to us had smuggled in a camera and has promised to email some pictures.

It was a super show, a couple of technical problems but for the first night of a new tour it was great.
