Lazy day around Branson
We didn't do any major activities today. After getting up late and a fancy McDonalds lunch we headed to the big observation tower on the hill.
From the tower we had a great view of Table Rock Lake, Branson, and some of the surrounding countryside.
For dinner, we had a buffet sponsored by Marriott, for $9.50 we received a ton of food and a "sampler" of 5 or 6 of the local shows. Was about an hour and a half of show previews including a fire dance (no fire allowed, no safety equipment in the theatre).
After dinner and a trip to Wendy's for Chocolate Frosties, we learned (from Lee and Rose Ann) about how to play Rooke.
Lee had fun talking to Joe back in Santa Barbara via the IRLP/ham radio link. Lee and Rose Ann are headed back home in TN tomorrow morning.
